TEMPUS FUGUIS

Tempus Fuguis is a contemporary reinterpretation of the vanitas still-life paintings from the 16th and 17th centuries. The Latin word "Vanitas" means emptiness or untruthfulness.
These artworks reflect the transience of material things, the futility of pleasure, and the certainty of death.

I have chosen several elements that represent our current society and that play with the concept of time: a Minecraft gun, an Apple Watch, a digital camera... All made of paper.
